Good morning my dear judges [bow] , I’m number 26. It’s my honor to be here to share my lesson with all of you. The lesson I teach is section A of Unit 1 What’s he like? My teaching procedure includes seven steps. Warming up, Lead in, presentation, practice, production, summary and homework. Now let’s begin our class.(客套介绍)


Step 1 Greeting+Warming up :


Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to see you! How are you today? I’m fine ,too. Do you know what we are going to do now. Yeah, so mart! Sing a song together. Listen, here we go!


Step 2 Lead in:

Ok, class. I want to show you a picture. Look at this picture. He is a clown, right? Great. He is very funny. Do you want to describe him in English? Great, today we will learn a new unit. Unit 1 what’s he like.


Tips:Warming up 和 Lead in 部分可以根据情况放在一起。Warming up 一般为歌曲,它的作用是活跃气氛,吸引学生的注意力。如果可以将本课的内容编成歌曲,那就可以直接用歌曲导入,既节省时间效果又好。


Step 3-4 Presentation+Practice:

Ok, let’s learn the new words. Then I’d like to show you some pictures. The first picture is a man. He has a lot of white hair. He is 70 years old. So we can say that he is old. The second picture is a child with a schoolbag. He is in grade 5. So, we can say that he is young. The third picture is Guodegang, we all know he is a crosstalk performer. So we can say that he is funny. Ok, follow me please. Now let’s play a game. If I read a phrase aloud, you read it in a low voice. If I read a phrase in a low voice , you read it aloud .clear? ok, let’s begin. Well done.(呈现单词+练习单词)


Now, everyone, let’s learn the new structures.

Let’s learn the new structure. ok, class. The new term is coming. Let’s see our new teacher through the pictures on the screen. This is Mr. jones, he can draw. This is Mrs. Smith. She can sing. Guess who’s your art teacher? Wonderful. Mr. jones. He is 20 years old. Is he young? In English, we can say. Yes, he is. Ok, jack. Who’s your music teacher? Great, Mrs. Smith. next you can practice with your partner. You have 3 minutes. Let’s begin. Ok, time is up. Wonderful.(呈现句型+练习句型)

Next, we will have a competition. I divide you into two teams, you are team A, you are team B. If you perform well, You can move one space forward.(竞争机制)(可有可删)


Step 5 Production:

Ok, Class. Suppose I were a journalist now. jack, please. Who is your favorite star. yeah,he is wulei. Is he young? Great. Yes, he is. Ok, boys and girls. what about you? Let’s do a survey in group of 4. Ask for your partners, who is your favorite star? is he young? Five minutes for you! Go for it. (Go ahead.) Finished? OK, I will ask two groups to perform before the class. Volunteers? Jack, your group, please. Wonderful ! Go back to you seats. Move one space for your team.Lucy , your group, please. Well done! Go back to you seats. Move one space for your team.


育人环节(可有可删):

Ok, class. Look at the picture. This is a formal meeting. Everyone was dressed in formal clothes except Mark. He was wearing shorts and slippers.

Discuss in groups of 4. You have two minutes. Let’s begin. Ok, stop here.
