The logo—developed in partnership with Pentagram—will make its debut in print on May 25 with the release of DC Universe: Rebirth Special #1. Give it a look below, courtesy of DC:After making its debut on Rebirth, the logo will be featured across DC's array of digital platforms, including its social media channels, websites and All Access app.
"DC is home to the greatest Super Heroes and Super-Villains, and the new logo has the character and strength to stand proudly alongside DC’s iconic symbols," DC Entertainment Senior VP of Marketing and Global Franchise Management Amit Desai said in a statement. "The launch of the new logo is the perfect tribute to DC’s legacy, exciting future and most importantly, our fans."DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns also shared his thoughts on the new logo, saying he's "very proud that Rebirth will be the first comic book published with the new DC logo," noting that both Rebirth and the logo "are built on what's come before while looking to what will come tomorrow."
