These are cheap, but they're cheap for a reason. I bought two sets for a trip to Switzerland & Austria. When I arrived in an Alpine village I put them on to get up a short, not very steep hill. As there was ice under the snow the driven wheels lost traction a couple of times. The chains broke immediately in several places on both wheels. They will fulfill the legal requirements of certain countries that need you to carry snow chains but don't rely on them to get you anywhere.
