High quality solid oak bird feeder house

This quality bird house made of solid oiled oak wood is weatherproof and is characterised by its special robustness. The feeder is 28 x 20 x 22 cm and has a 161 cm high oak stand. The plexiglass feed silo inside effectively protects the bird food from dirt and moisture and releases it gradually so it has to be refilled less often. Filling is possible without any problems thanks to the pull-out feeding tray.

Shoddy. Virtually impossible to get the pole straight and upright. Pole in several pieces and fastenings not strong enough to connect them. After 2 weeks my husband had to fix the pole with longer screws and add a new bolt and screw to fasten in the table. Swells in wet weather so food tray difficult to remove. Bought 3 months ago and today it collapsed for the final time and is now in the firewood pile!

The post for the birdbox is very flimsy. Not strong enough to take the weight of birdbox.
We are very disappointed in the quality of this item as it was for my grand-daughter.
We are going to have to buy a stronger post to fix box to.

Die Futterschublade ist eigentlich eine geniale Idee, aber nur die Schublade ist aus Eichenholz. Das blau lasierte dach besteht aus billigem Holz (wahrscheinlich Fichte) und ist absolut nicht passgenau. Die schublade konnten wir nur ein einziges mal und auch nur unter größten Mühen herausziehen, sodass wir das Futterhaus erst gar nicht aufgestellt, sondern schon 5 Minuten nach Auspacken des Paketes alles wieder eingepackt und an Amazon zurückgeschickt haben. Ob die anderen (und teureren) Häuser besser sind, kann ich nicht sagen, das blaue Haus ist jedenfalls sein Geld absolut nicht wert. Schade. Ich kann vom Kauf eher abraten.

Die Stange, auf der das Haus ruht, wird in vier Teilen, die zusammengeschraubt werden, geliefert. Diese Schraubverbindungen überleben nicht einmal das erste Zusammenschrauben, da sie sich aus dem Holz lösen, sobald sie fester angezogen werden! Dieses Teil ist vollkommen unbrauchbar und kann nur noch für den Ofen genutzt werden. Das Haus an sich macht einen guten Eindruck, da muss man mal sehen, wie es nach einem Winter aussieht.

Die Nägel sind nicht lackiert und rosten, die zusammen geschraubten Stockabschnitte werden wackelig und weich.
