Hello,

I have a problem and i don’t find the solution on google.
In the beginning I did exactly what you have told in the tutorial and my results was exactly like yours (shiny and with reflection). When I try to do it again with the same steps, but with different size and without using “StagesSet1-03-CycloramaC” … only a white background, the result have no reflection and isn’t shiny. Why ?
By the way, great tutorials on your website ! 馃檪

Thanks !

I can’t seem to get color but in the middle. Niether face is colorized just white and when I do front and back for the bevel it doesn’t bevel and emboss the back face. Please help. I love the vids and am a new user to PS. You have been very helpful Thanks!

Hello!

I wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your videos and this is probably one of my favorites so far! I originally did the hearts and it came out fantastic. After, I decided to do something a little Fall inspired and made my own piece using this as a guide. I wanted to share my results with you here and thank you for always making these awesome tutorials!

AWESOME!!

I have been using PS over over 20 years, very very basic use. Before this video I felt that I was able to use about 0.0001 % of the program. After watching this very interesting video I have a new appreciation of the depth of this program and your knowledge with it. Sooo I must add at least two more zeros to the right of the decimal point in my Percent of use of the program, 0.000001 %. And I might be bragging however.

This is an excellent tutorial considering that it is relatively easy to follow. It is a very appropriate way to introduce 3D to beginners. I enjoyed the way the process was explained. Thank you for explaining every step.

JR,
Love your tutorials. I’m having a problem with this one and I’m sure it is one of my settings. When I create the first extrusion instead of getting a 3D block in the shape of a heart I’m actually getting a 3D block with the shape of the heart cut out of it. As if I was doing the 2nd heart and choosing hole. I’m actually getting an ‘intrusion’ instead of an extrusion, if that is the proper term. Have done all kinds of searches to no avail. 馃檨

After a few frustrating minutes I realized I had the pen set to subtract. It was that simple.

Bumped in to you 馃檪 yesterday and watched your 60 min video with tips and tricks and learned a ton for my retouchting. This vid will help me to make furniture pieces I can add to my modelshoot. You’re an amazing teacher. Thanks for all your efforts.
